Introducing Three New Specialty Massages

Thai Massage
(60 minutes - $75, $65 for members)
Traditional Thai massage is a full-body treatment that starts at the feet and progresses up to the head. While using a sequence of gentle, flowing exercise movements, the recipient’s body is moved, loosened and stretched at the joints and muscles. Some of the stretch applications are directly linked to yoga positions. This unique type of massage influences the energetic side as well, restoring the flow of energy throughout the body with applied acupressure on the sen energy lines of the body, aimed at harmonizing and energizing. It is the combination of yoga stretching, calmness of meditation, with acupressure, exercise movement and reflexology that make Thai massage a healing art. This massage technique is performed on a mat on the floor or table with the client dressed in comfortable clothing.

The benefits of Thai massage include stress and pain relief, resistance to injury, improved range of motion, toning of internal organs, increased energy and deep relaxation. The combination of energetic and physical aspects is what makes Thai massage unique and so effective!

Ashiatsu Massage
(30 minutes - $45, $40 for members)
(60 minutes - $75, $65 for members)
A full-body massage using one-footed techniques to apply gliding movements of light to deep gliding strokes. Ashiatsu increases circulation, has a longer lasting effect than that of a therapeutic massage, and the muscles are elongated to improve posture. With Ashiatsu no bruising or soreness is experienced after treatment.

Cranial Sacral Therapy
(30 minutes - $35, $30 for members)

Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is a light touch therapy (pressure of about the weight of a nickel) that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improves whole-body health and performance. With the use of light touch techniques the practitioners evaluate your internal environment then release any restrictions they find.

A few conditions CST addresses are headaches, migraines, chronic neck pain, back pain, stress, tension, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, tmj syndrome, scoliosis, central nervous system disorders, learning disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder, orthopedic problems, motor coordination impairments, brain and spinal cord injuries, these are just to name a few.

Ideally suited for people with chronic neck and shoulder tension, where stress accumulates. This full body massage includes application of warm sedona red mud to the upper back, neck and shoulder area to relax and warm the muscles, continues with a warming scrub to your feet for softening and finally concludes with a warming scrub to your feet for softening. Massage cream infused with an essential oil of your choice completes your massage.

Hot Stone Massage

Deeply grounding aroma-therapy massage treatment combining traditional massage therapy with warm river rocks providing a deeper state of relaxation. The soothing energy of the warmth will leave you stress free. Essential oil aids in soothing your muscle tension and provides an overall sense of well-being.

Lava Shell Massage

Fulfill your Island desires with a warm massage filled with sounds of the ocean and tropical aromatics. Begin your journey with gentle exfoliation and a moisturizing layer of coconut cream that leads into a warm lava shell massage and ends with a soothing lime infused foot mask.

Expectant Mother Massage

Give yourself some much needed attention. This gentle treatment stimulates circulation, improves elasticity and eases lower back pain and water retention. Come and indulge, with your Doctor's approval.

Salt Glow
(45 minutes - $45, $40 for members)
This treatment may be added onto a regular massage for $25.

Invigorating treatment that exfoliates, refines and nourishes your skin using natural sea salt infused with essential oils in an oil base. After an exfoliating treatment, sea salt is applied and smoothed over your skin and then swept away with hot moist towels leaving your skin ready for a light application of moisture-rich cream.

Moor Mud Wrap
(70 minutes - $80, $70 for members)
The essentials of moor mud are wonderful for arthritis, as well as muscle and joint pain. We start with a gentle body exfoliation to prepare the skin for the application of the warm mud, while you are wrapped in a cocoon to allow your body to absorb the mud's healing properties, you will enjoy a wonderful face and scalp massage. Our in-room swiss shower will remove the mud and prepare your skin for a full body application of moisture-rich cream.

Seaweed Infusion Wrap
(70 minutes - $80, $70 for members)
A full body seaweed wrap infuses the epidermis with vital mineral salts and restores moisture and elasticty, while firming and toning spongy, dehydrated skin. After a body exfoliation we apply our warmed seaweed infused mask over your body then wrap you in blankets. While the properties of the seaweed are absorbed, you will enjoy a peppermint foot rub. Finally, we target difficult areas with our body contour gel and finish your treatment with a light application of cream and essential oils to help seal and protect your skin.
