Knee Replacement Patient Feels 20 Years Younger Already

Jason Haak, PT, receives outstanding praise from patient Bonnie Wachholz.
It wasn’t the first time around for Bonnie Wachholz, of Beloit, who had been through knee replacement and plenty of PT before. She knew what she was getting into when she had her second knee replaced on July 15th.
Dr. Ajmal Matloob, Orthopedic Surgeon, recommended six weeks of physical therapy after the surgery. Since Bonnie had heard good things about NorthPointe, she decided to go to there for her rehab. “The whole thing was a super-good experience,” shares Bonnie. “I already feel as though I’m at a much healthier level in my life than I have been for a very long time.”
Bonnie credits her physical therapist, Jason Haak, who went “above and beyond at all times to challenge me.” She says, “He was so supportive and inspiring.” Jason has been a PT at NorthPointe since it opened three years ago.
He enjoys seeing his patients get back to the activities they enjoy.
“NorthPointe is top notch. From the first visit there, I felt I was in the best of care—not only because of the beautiful building, but also the patient respect and friendly people,” Bonnie continues. She is now back to work and giving 100% to her job and co-workers. Long hours of standing as a food services employee at Powers School required a full recovery.
“After all of my PT sessions, I knew NorthPointe would be a place I would want to return to. That’s why I chose to become a member to keep my health up to its fullest potential. I told my husband I feel 20 years younger already.”
