NorthPointe Diagnostics offers the most advanced imaging technology for your convenience, timeliness, and comfort. The department is totally filmless, using all digital readings for immediate review by radiologists and physicians.
Mammography – Digital mammography is a proven tool in detecting breast cancer in the more difficult to image cases. The state-of-the-art mammography imager can detect small lumps and cancers at the very earliest stages. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to get a creening mammogram, just call 815-525-4210.
Bone Density Studies – Today there are new medications to increase bone growth. A bone density study can indicate if you have osteoporosis, or early stages of osteoporosis called osteopenia. If you have osteoporosis in your family, we recommend talking to your doctor about a bone density study.
CT, MRI and X-ray – NorthPointe features the only CT and MRI in the area with natural sunlight coming through to reduce the traditional closed-in feeling.
Ultrasound – Offering OB/GYN ultrasounds, as well as all abdomen and vascular ultrasounds.
Mammogram Mondays – convenience for you! Women can stop in for their annual screening mammogram on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 5-8 p.m. No appointment is needed. Relax and enjoy the convenient evening hours while enjoying refreshments.
